Appointment Policy:
Rescheduling, Cancellations and Non-Attendance

I understand that plans can change, so if you need to reschedule your appointment I aim to make the process as straightforward as possible. To keep the diary running smoothly and ensure fairness for all patients, please note the following:
Rescheduling

Appointments may be rescheduled free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled time.

Within 24 hours of the appointment, rescheduling is not normally possible. If I am able to accommodate a last minute change, an administration free of £25 will be applied. Please contact me directly should you need to reschedule an appointment within 24 hours.
Cancellations

Appointments cancelled with more than 24 hours’ notice are eligible for a refund, less a £25 administration fee.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment are non-refundable.
Refunds

A refund, minus a £25 administration fee, is available for cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance.

Refunds are not issued for cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment.
Non-attendance

If you do not attend your appointment and have not contacted me in advance, the consultation will be classed as a no-show and is non-refundable.
Late attendance

If you arrive late for your appointment, your consultation may be shorter than scheduled in order to avoid delays for other patients. The full fee will still apply and cannot be amended or reduced.

I always endeavour to keep to time. Should your appointment commence late due to delay on my part, the duration of your consultation will not be affected.
Exceptional circumstances

I recognise that genuine emergencies and unforeseen events can occur. If this happens, please contact me as soon as possible. Any flexibility or exceptions to my usual policy will be considered at my discretion.
